Sylvania Fall Festival

A longstanding Sylvania tradition, the Sylvania Fall Festival returns this year on Sunday, October 21st, 2018! Several dozen food, craft, informational and other vendor booths will line Main Street, Tree City’s historical throughway. Everybody’s perennial favorite, the fall festival parade, will energize the town from Monroe to Main Street. Catch a stage performance at the corner of Main and Maplewood, explore Sylvania Historical Village and celebrate community when you join us for the 33rd Annual Sylvania Fall Festival!

Pumpkin Carving Contest: Only 5 entries available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please call the chamber office at 419-882-2135 to register. Entry fee $10. We will provide the pumpkin; you must provide all necessary tools. You may bring a template of your design, but you may not tape it to the pumpkin to trace. Registration opens June 1st.

3rd Annual Pie Contest Sunday, October 21st, 2018

We invite all pie bakers to submit their best homemade pies for our Fall Festival Pie Contest. All pies must be completely from scratch (no store-bought crusts or fillings and no pies that require refrigeration such as cream or custard pies). Each pie will be judged and prizes given in adult and youth (ages 6 – 16) categories. Please use the form below to register. All pies must be dropped off at the Sylvania Historical Village on Sunday October 22 between 10 and 11:00 AM.


Registration opens June 1st, 2018 for all vendors and parade participants.
