The Sylvania Area has been chosen as an Ohio's Best Hometown for 2010 by Ohio Magazine. The achievement recognizes the Sylvania area's impressive commitment to education, community spirit, economic development success and its heritage.

 The application was submitted on behalf of the Sylvania Area Chamber of  Commerce, City of Sylvania, Sylvania Township and the Sylvania Area Community Improvement Corp.
